About Adam Cooper

Parent, builder, and founder of CaseTime — a platform born from the real need for clarity and structure during divorce and custody proceedings.

Adam Cooper, founder of CaseTime

Why I Built CaseTime

I'm Adam Cooper, and I built CaseTime because I needed it myself.

As a parent navigating a difficult divorce and custody dispute, I quickly discovered how overwhelming it becomes when important information is scattered across text messages, emails, calendars, screenshots, and stacks of documents. Every conversation, every date, every detail felt like it could matter — but there was no clear way to keep it all organized.

I learned how easily misunderstandings can happen when details live in too many places. Important context gets lost. Timelines become muddled. And when you need to share a clear picture with your attorney or prepare for a hearing, the effort of pulling everything together can feel paralyzing.

I built CaseTime to solve that problem — not just for myself, but for any parent who needs calm structure during one of the most difficult chapters of their life. Since then, I've had the privilege of helping abuse survivors, protective parents, and others navigating high-conflict divorces and custody battles bring order to their documentation when it matters most.

The goal is simple: help people capture what happens, organize it clearly, and produce a timeline they can share with their attorney or keep for their own records.

What CaseTime Helps You Do

CaseTime is designed to reduce chaos and bring structure to your documentation — so you can focus on what matters.

Capture Events as They Happen

Log incidents, exchanges, and communications with dates, times, and descriptions — creating a reliable, timestamped record.

Attach Files and Evidence

Upload screenshots, photos, documents, and other files directly to the relevant event or incident.

Organize by Topic

Categorize entries by type — custody exchanges, communication issues, schedule changes, and more.

Generate a Clear Timeline

Produce a chronological timeline of events that tells a coherent story — ready to review or share.

Export and Share with Counsel

Share organized records with your attorney or legal team — on your terms, when you're ready.

Reduce Chaos, Gain Clarity

Replace scattered notes and overflowing folders with a single, secure platform built for this exact situation.

Work Across the Divorce and Custody Ecosystem

Through building CaseTime, I've had the chance to work with and learn from many families and professionals navigating divorce and custody. That experience led me to create additional tools to support this community.

VisitProof

VisitProof was built to modernize supervised visit documentation and workflows. It provides structure and accountability for visit supervisors, agencies, and the families they serve — helping ensure that visits are documented clearly and consistently.

DivorceNetworkPro

DivorceNetworkPro is a directory connecting people to divorce and custody professionals, from attorneys and mediators to therapists and financial advisors. The goal is to help families find the support they need, in one place.

Principles

Everything I build is guided by a few core beliefs about what people going through this process deserve.

Neutrality. CaseTime is a documentation tool, not a weapon. It's designed to help you record what happens clearly and factually.
Clarity. When information is organized, it speaks for itself. Structure reduces confusion and helps you communicate more effectively.
Privacy. Your data is yours. CaseTime is built with security and confidentiality as foundational requirements, not afterthoughts.
User control. You decide what to document, what to share, and when. No one else has access unless you grant it.
Respectful documentation. The goal is accuracy and completeness — not escalation. Good documentation serves the truth.

Important Note

CaseTime is a documentation and organizational tool. It does not provide legal advice, and using CaseTime does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Every family's situation is different. The information and tools provided through CaseTime are intended to help you stay organized — they are not a substitute for qualified legal counsel. If you are involved in a legal matter, please consult with a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

We encourage all users to be thoughtful about what they document and share. Protect your privacy and the privacy of others, especially children.
